Maltepe Gülsuyu'nda bulunan 8 katlı bir iş merkezinde yangın çıktı. Olay yerine çok sayıda itfaiye ekibi sevk edildi.

Binada mahsur kalan vatandaşların olduğu iddia edildi.

Sultanahmet Meydanı'nda 10.20 sıralarında şiddetli bir patlama meydana geldi. Patlamada ilk belirlemelere göre, 10 kişinin öldüğünü, 15 kişinin yaralandığını bildirdi.

Tornado Damage in Cape Coral, FL | Jan 11, 2016

An EF2 tornado with wind speeds of up to 135 mph tore through Southwest Cape Coral Saturday evening. 

As of 8:35 a.m. no fatalities or injuries have been reported. Cape Coral Police Department Spokesman Dana Coston said three minor injuries were reported due to cuts from broken glass. However, due to the late hour of the tornado's touchdown, a damage assessment and determination of exactly how many people were affected is yet to be completed.

Adana`da korkutan hortum !

Adana'nın sahil ilçesi Karataş`ta çıkan hortum görenleri korkuttu.

Hortum, can ve mal kaybına neden olmazken gökyüzüne doğru yükselerek kayboldu. Bölgede yaklaşık 5 dakika görülen hortumun mahalleden geçmemesi de `şans` olarak değerlendirildi.

Typhoon Chan-Hom will show effect in Guam/Saipan (4-5 July 2015)

Chan-hom has weakened to a tropical storm late Thursday evening (U.S. time) and remains a tropical storm early Friday morning. Further weakening is possible, however, it is forecast to regain typhoon status again this weekend.

Wind shear is the primary reason for the weakening we saw late on Thursday. All of the shower and t-storm activity was sheared off to the west, leaving an exposed low-level center of circulation. Wind shear is expected to abate Friday night.

Typhoon Chan-Hom (Wind)

Chan-hom is currently located more than 300 miles southeast of Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. It is moving northeast at 8 mph as of early Friday morning.

The National Weather Service has issued a typhoon watch for Guam, Rota, Tinian and Saipan, meaning typhoon conditions - winds of 74 mph or more - are possible within 48 hours.

Guam has been placed in Condition of Readiness 3 Thursday afternoon, meaning destructive winds are possible within 48 hours. Tropical Cyclone Conditions of Readiness -- TCCOR -- is the system used by the U.S. military to help prepare for tropical cyclones. 

Steered by upper-level high pressure to the north, Chan-hom is expected to turn toward the northwest by Saturday, then pass near, or over, Guam and the Mariana Islands Sunday afternoon, local time. Guam is 14 hours ahead of U.S. Eastern daylight time. 

Chan-hom is forecast to intensify again as it nears Guam, and may be a Category 1 equivalent typhoon on its closest approach.

It remains a bit too soon to say precisely where the center of Chan-hom will track. Any short-term wiggles in the track and the precise timing of the northwest turn are critical for impacts in the Marianas. Also, the exact intensity of Chan-hom remains uncertain, which will dictate the eventual impacts.

The NWS office in Guam lists the following potential impacts:

• Winds: Tropical storm-force winds could begin Saturday evening, continuing through Sunday. Typhoon-force winds are possible early Sunday morning.
• Surge:  1-3 feet of coastal inundation along east-facing shores.
• Surf: 10-15 feet Friday, building to 17-22 feet Saturday evening, continuing Sunday before subsiding Monday morning.
• Rain:  6-10 inches possible through Monday morning.
